Compact U-arm systems for confined spaces

Amadeo S U-arm X-ray systems offer an all-purpose imaging stand with optional wheeled patient table in DR (wireless or with integrated X-ray detector) and conventional (Computed Radiography or film cassettes) versions.  Thanks to a special cross arm and a long vertical axis, images can easily be taken with the patient in standing, sitting or lying position. The compact design of the Amadeo X-ray tube stand allows for installation in very confined spaces.

The dicomPACS®DX-R control panel operates the entire X-ray system. A powder-coated surface protects the unit from surface abrasions and makes it easy to clean. Ergonomic handles allows the unit to be moved safely in all directions with one hand. Electromagnetic brakes dampen all movements. The Amadeo S is fully counterbalanced and fitted with smooth-running and silent wheels.

Three versions of the Amadeo S X-ray system are available:

Amadeo S-DR:

With a built-in X-ray detector  (43 cm x 43 cm)

Amadeo S-DRw:

with a wireless X-ray detector (35 cm x 43 cm)

Amadeo S-AX:

For use with film or CR cassettes

Features and Benefits of Amadeo S Systems:

Fully operational in confined spaces

The X-ray system is designed for small rooms – its special cross arm and a long vertical axis allow hassle-free imaging of patients in standing, sitting or lying positions.

Excellent image quality

The high-quality flat panel detector delivered with the system uses a caesium iodide (CsI) scintillator and boasts excellent image quality even at low radiation doses. Image quality is markedly superior to commonly used GadOx (Gd²O²S:Tb) detectors.

Quick workflow and optimal documentation

X-ray images are available for viewing and diagnosis within 6-8 seconds of triggering.

Easy and safe handling

The X-ray unit can be moved and rotated safely with one hand. Electromagnetic brakes dampen all movements – with the exception of the Bucky device which locks upon reaching a tilt of 0°. The Amadeo S-DR is fully counterbalanced and fitted with smooth-running, silent wheels.

The professional dicomPACS® DX-R acquisition software sports an intuitive and modern graphical user interface. Examinations may be conducted comfortably at the monitor with only one operator console. All adjustments to X-ray parameters are automatically communicated to the generator.

Ingenious design

Thanks to the 43 cm x 43 cm flat panel detector, there is no more bothersome switching between portrait and landscape formats. Images of extremities are a breeze with the removable motorised grid.

Acquisition and diagnostic software for X-ray images

Acquisition and diagnostic software for X-ray images

At the heart of each Amadeo system is the dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition and diagnostic software with the integrated X-ray positioning guide developed by OR Technology.

The software controls X-ray generators and X-ray units of various manufacturers, providing a smooth and structured workflow. A simple and user friendly GUI (graphical user interface), operated by touchscreen or mouse, completes the system.

The professional dicomPACS®DX-R image processing can be adapted to individual user needs and offers outstanding image quality in human and veterinary medicine. It has been specially developed to enable organ specific viewing quality optimisation, guaranteeing the highest quality of X-ray images.
