The portable X-ray suitcase during mobile and stationary military operations

The Leonardo DR mini is your trusted companion during mobile and stationary military operations. The X-ray system is ideally suited for outdoor and indoor use under difficult conditions. The Leonardo is perfect for emergency medicine during land, air and sea operations, and for field hospitals. With a weight of only 9.5 kg, the Leonardo DR mini is one of the lightest, portable X-ray systems worldwide and fits perfectly into a custom-made suitcase. The practical and sturdy suitcase has an abrasion and stain-resistant silicone coating, and can be carried with a shoulder strap.

A built-in laptop with high resolution monitor guarantees excellent images. A straightforward user interface combined with OR Technology’s integrated acquisition and diagnosis software makes it easy for staff to generate excellent X-ray images. In addition, the integrated multimedia X-ray positioning guide assists with patient positioning.

Essential components such as laptop and detector are safely and accessibly stowed within the suitcase and ready for immediate use. A spare battery and laptop power cord further promote autonomous and flexible use. The battery can be charged from a car cigarette lighter socket using a 12 or 24 volt adapter. X-ray images are available for viewing on the laptop immediately after exposure and can be sent to a specialist for consultation via e-mail or cloud services.  The system can be operated with X-ray detectors of varying size.

Features & Benefits of the Leonardo DR mini System

Quick and mobile radiological examinations

The Leonardo DR mini system is perfect for mobile X-ray examinations. The system combines the advantages of high-end digital X-ray technology with portability and flexibility, and is ideally suited for outdoor use.

Wireless and battery-operated radiography

Wireless DR flat panels are now available in a range of sizes. The battery-operated system runs continuously for up to five hours and is ideally suited for confined spaces and uneven terrain. The battery can be charged from a car cigarette lighter socket using a 12 or 24 volt adapter. When used together with a battery-operated HF X-ray generator, radiography becomes entirely wireless and mobile.

The smallest and most lightweight X-ray system that fits into a suitcase The compact X-ray system weighs only 9.5 kg and can easily be transported on site. The small, custom-made suitcase fits behind the driver‘s seat of any car.
The featherweight champion in flat panel detectors

Our wireless flat panel detector weighs only 1.58 kg. Nonetheless, this technological wonder is chock-full of useful features, e.g., fully automated image realignment during exposure and warning signals when the detector is upside down. A wide range of accessories, including a protective case with or without grid, is available. When fully charged, the battery lasts for approx. 1000 exposures.

Excellent image quality and rapid processing

The 4 lp/mm resolution of the wireless detector results in outstanding images. X-ray images are available for viewing and diagnosis within 6-8 seconds of triggering.

User-friendly and ingeniously designed

Our professional dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition software sports a modern and user-friendly interface. Examinations are comfortably conducted at the monitor. An integrated multimedia X-ray positioning guide provides helpful hints, photographs, videos and sample X-rays during patient positioning.

Always on call The integrated diagnosis software facilitates worldwide, rapid and inexpensive consultations (via e-mail or cloud services) in compliance with safety and privacy regulations for telemedical solutions. The only requirement is an internet connection.

Acquisition and diagnostic software for X-ray images

DXR human

At the heart of each Leonardo system is the dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition and diagnostic software with the integrated X-ray positioning guide developed by OR Technology.

The software controls X-ray generators and X-ray units of various manufacturers, providing a smooth and structured workflow. A simple and user friendly GUI (graphical user interface), operated by touchscreen or mouse, completes the system.

The professional dicomPACS®DX-R image processing can be adapted to individual user needs and offers outstanding image quality in human and veterinary medicine. It has been specially developed to enable organ specific viewing quality optimisation, guaranteeing the highest quality of X-ray images.
