Digital X-ray with fully motorised U-arm X-ray machine for use in field hospitals

Compact Amadeo Z X-ray systems are ideal for use in field hospitals (containers) as well as in military hospitals and medical military bases. The system is fully motorised, compact, and designed for ceiling heights over 2.4 m.

Radiological positioning for all examinations, including full spine and long leg imaging via stitching is effortless. The optimised workflow saves time and personnel resources. The entire system is controlled via our professional acquisition and diagnosis software, dicomPACS®DX-R. Four electric motors facilitate accurate and effortless U-arm adjustment for patients in sitting, standing and lying positions (examination table is optional).

Three versions of the Amadeo Z X-ray system are available:

Amadeo Z-DR:

with built-in CsI X-ray detector (43 cm x 43 cm)

Amadeo Z-DRw:

with a mobile and wireless CsI X-ray detector (35 cm x 43 cm)

Amadeo Z-AX:

without an X-ray detector and for use with CR systems or film cassettes

Features & Advantages of Amadeo Z

One of a kind

The complete X-ray system can be manually positioned.

Low clearance

The system is fully functional with ceiling heights over 2.4 m (7.87 ft).

Excellent image quality

Our standard high-quality flat panel detector operates on the basis of a caesium iodide scintillator and produces excellent images even at low radiation doses.

The professional dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition software allows all examinations to be conveniently conducted from a monitor. X-ray parameters are automatically transferred to the generator.

The system is equipped with a wide array of active and passive safety mechanisms. An optional proximity alarm prevents collisions with patients and staff.

Ingenious design

The 43 cm x 43 cm flat panel detector makes switching between portrait and landscape orientation unnecessary.

Fast & fully motorised

The U-arm can be quickly and easily positioned. The X-ray image is available for viewing and diagnosis within 6-8 seconds after exposure.

Acquisition and diagnostic software for X-ray images

Digital X-ray: Acquisition and diagnostic software for X-ray images

At the heart of each Amadeo system is the dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition and diagnostic software with the integrated X-ray positioning guide developed by OR Technology.

The software controls X-ray generators and X-ray units of various manufacturers, providing a smooth and structured workflow. A simple and user friendly GUI (graphical user interface), operated by touchscreen or mouse, completes the system.

The professional dicomPACS®DX-R image processing can be adapted to individual user needs and offers outstanding image quality in human and veterinary medicine. It has been specially developed to enable organ specific viewing quality optimisation, guaranteeing the highest quality of X-ray images.
