Image recording during the operation is possible from all modalities. You simply operate the footswitch at the operation table to switch on the video port of the PC electronically.
You can add arrows and text to the images in any direction, size and colour afterwards.

During the operation you are always able to view digital preoperative images of the patient, e.g. X-ray and MRI images.

Pre-recordings as well as the newly created images of the digital camera can
be incorporated in the operation report. It is possible to create numerous report templates beforehand depending on the location of the operation. Missing information about the
operation, such as findings or procedures followed, can be dictated immediately after
the operation in the theatre to be added later at leisure. Notes on the individual images such as captions can be dictated as well and allocated to the relevant images.

Now the programme can create the operation report fully automatically by pressing a button. The report is stored as a Word file in the practice management programme and parallel to that archived in the dicomPACS^®vet vet image archive system for forensic reasons. In this way the report and image material stay together as a unit.
