Hospital in Denmark opts for PACS from OR Technology

The hospital in southern Denmark is very near completion and has decided to install OR Technology’s image management system dicomPACS^®. dicomPACS^® will distribute the images throughout the hospital. Digital X-ray, mammography, CT and ultrasound scanner will be connected to the system.

The images will be diagnosed at five workstations, some of which will be equipped with several monitors. The integrated dicomPACS^® Web Server handles the image distribution to external partners and home workstations. The complete archiving of the radiological image data will be carried out by a DVD robot system.

The system will be linked directly to the patient management system “Multimedweb”, enabling entry of examination jobs as well as direct access to the images and series from the electronic patient file.
