OR Technology presents digital X-ray solutions at the South-African World Veterinary Congress
OR Technology will exhibit for the first time at the South-African “World Veterinary Congress” from 10-14 October 2011 in Capetown. In cooperation with its partner McAllister Software Systems® – manufacturer of the worldwide known practice management software AVImark – OR Technology will present the mobile Leonardo suitcase solutions. The fast and handy solution is easy to transport: All necessary components (detector, notebook and cables) are housed in a robust suitcase with integrated wheels. In addition to the imaging plate systems installed in cars, more and more veterinarians are starting to use a compact suitcase system as an even faster and more compact alternative in the field of digital radiography for out patient treatment. Areas of application are mobile veterinary practices, equine clinics and universities.
Integration of the Avimark veterinary management system
OR Technology offers in cooperation with McAllister Software Systems also a bidirectional interface with AVImark veterinary management system. McAllister Software Systems® launched a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) called DragonflyPACS® in April 2011 based on the image processing system dicomPACS® created by OR Technology in Germany. DragonflyPACS®is fully integrated into the AVImark software.
30th World Veterinary Congress with extensive exhibition
The 30th World Veterinary Congress in Capetown offers a versatile scientific programme accompanied by an extensive international exhibition. The theme of the congress taking place at the foot of the world famous Table Mountain is “Caring for animals: healthy communities”.
