Digital X-ray imaging with “Medici” – The new product line for simply digitising existing X-ray systems
A flat panel, a PC with touch screen and the dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition software make up the “Medici” retrofit solution, which can be integrated into existing X-ray systems to allow direct digital X-ray imaging. The software assumes complete control of the X-ray generators and systems of different manufacurers to create a simple, easy to use work process. Your X-ray system does not require any alteration either, as the plate is exactly 35 x 43 cm and fits into any existing Bucky table.
One of the software’s many user friendly functions is the organ focus
ed image processing capability. This integrated X-ray positioning guide can also be adapted individually to the user’s requirements and provides the user with detailed instructions on the exact positioning technique with numerous pictures, videos and correct X-ray images. The images are transferred to a PACS in DICOM format. Communication with patient management systems (HIS, RIS and others) for exchanging patient data is also integrated.
Due to the fully integrated dicomPACS® Diagnostic Module, the
X-ray images taken may then be evaluated directly.
