Veterinary practice in Schiffdorf, Germany digitalises by means of an
OR Technology X-ray system

The practice in Schiffdorf near Bremerhaven, offers a broad range of treatment options for small animals as well as for horses and working animals.

With immediate effect, the diagnostic facilities are enhanced: X-ray images may be taken directly at the customer with a mobile digital X-ray system from OR Technology. The Leonardo 1210P system has been especially developed for this purpose: All necessary components (detector, 17” notebook and cables) are housed in a robust suitcase with integrated wheels.

In addition, dicomPACS^®vet distributes the images to six workstations throughout the practice. The existing CR imaging plate system is also integrated in the network. A special highlight is the pre-purchase examination module for horses: By means of this module the diagnostic reports may be created directly from the dicomPACS^®vet software.
