Equine specialist in Hoitlingen invests in Leonardo DR 1210Pvet

Dr. Rolf-Peter Schulze has opted for a new OR Technology product: A portable DR X-ray system for horse examinations – the suitcase solution Leonardo 1210P. The fast and space saving alternative for portable digital radiography is easy to handle and transport: All necessary components are housed in a robust suitcase with integrated wheels. The integrated 17” notebook guarantees a qualitative good image viewing with numerous image processing functions. The flat panel detector (27 x 33cm) with a weight of only 3.4 kg enables professional working. Thanks to the integrated CsI screen the detector disposes of an excellent image quality, especially in comparison to conventional detectors with GadOx screen.

dicomPACS^®DX-R - the acquisition software for X-Ray images - forms the core of the DR suitcase. The intuitively used software combines image acquisition, workflow and diagnosis and contains many functions facilitating work. The integrated radiographic positioning guide provides detailed instructions on exact positioning as well as correct X-ray images and a lot of tips and tricks. For every shot the recommended X-ray data (KVp, mAs etc.) depending on the X-ray equipment used is displayed automatically. Frequently repeated examinations can be captured as macros, e.g. pre-purchase examinations and over- or underexposures are adjusted automatically.
