University of Veterinary Medicine in Brno opts for dicomPACS^®vet

The University of Veterinary Medicine in Brno, the Czech Republic’s second largest city, will receive a system from OR Technology. After detailed comparisons and a call for proposal the digitisation of the X-ray department is performed by the dicomPACS^®vet solution.

An AGFA CR 30-X and a portable DR system in a suitcase will be delivered. The functions for image distribution, diagnosis and archiving are provided by the dicomPACS^®vet system.

Any images (X-rays, MRI, digital camera etc.) as well as any type of document (diagnostic findings, patient histories, faxes) are stored in a digital patient file by means of dicomPACS^®vet and can be accessed immediately by a mouse click. Well thought-out archive and backup solutions will guarantee fast access to all data observing the highest security standards.

dicomPACS^®vet may be integrated easily into all common administration systems. Boasting more than 5,000 installed workstations on a national and international level, the system has proven itself over and over again.
