A veterinary clinic in Germering decides to acquire a digital X-ray system
by OR Technology
A large veterinary clinic near Munich invested in a Medici 1417vet direct digital X-ray system by OR Technology. Dr. Barbara Haas and Dr. Marion Link who are in charge of the Germering veterinary clinic specializing in small animals, decided to acquire the practical upgrade set for existing X-ray systems. The Medici solution consists of a detector, a PC with touch screen and the dicomPACS®DX-R acquisition software for X-ray images. In addition, the software entirely controls the X-ray generators and systems of various manufacturers, ensuring fast and efficient workflow during the entire process of X-ray imaging.
In addition, two sonography units were integrated into the package at the veterinary clinic. All the images are managed by means of the dicomPACS®vet image management system and can be accessed directly from the electronic patient file at seven workstations.
Veterinarians specializing in different fields work in close cooperation at the veterinary clinic. Specialists in the fields of surgery, dermatology and internal medicine look after the wellbeing of their animal patients. The team’s synergy and the high technical knowledge of each individual specialist result in optimal care for the animals. State-of-the-art technology, outstanding technical standards and many years of experience as senior veterinarians ensure comprehensive consultation, fast diagnosis and the development of effective treatment strategies. Thanks to the direct digital Medici X-ray system, imaging diagnostics have now caught up on the latest state of technology.
