OR Technology
OR Technology has been operating in the area of digital image processing since 1991, targeting the national and international market. The company, located in Rostock, Germany, provides system solutions for conventional and digital X-ray technology in human and veterinary medicine. With more than 1.000 installed X-ray and image processing systems, the company is represented in over 50 countries worldwide. Large hospitals and universities as well as smaller surgeries are using OR Technology’s solutions with great success (as of 15/11/2011).

Product portfolio
The in-house solution dicomPACS^®DX-R – acquisition software for X-ray images – offers a variety of applications. It can be integrated into X-ray systems (DR – with flat panels and CR – with imaging plates) independent of the manufacturer. We offer the following tailor-made OR Technology products: Medici (DR upgrade kits for existing X-ray systems), Divario (CR systems for digital X-ray imaging with cassettes), Leonardo (suitcase solutions for mobile or portable X-ray) and Amadeo (complete X-ray systems including stand, table, generator and flat panel).

OR Technology’s  image management solution dicomPACS^® covers acquisition, processing, transfer and archiving of image data and can be easily integrated into all common patient management systems. Web based PACS solutions guarantee the availability of images in DICOM quality via internet.

Certification
dicomPACS^®DX-R and dicomPACS^® are certified in accordance with Annex II of the Council Directive 93/42/EEC concerning Medical Devices. In addition, the 510(k) application has been cleared by the US authority FDA. For the development and improvement of our products, we have implemented a quality management system in accordance with ISO 13485.
